Susan Collins (ME)

“I do not believe that Brett Kavanaugh was [Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s] assailant.”

Republican Senator Susan Collins

Senator Susan Collins of Maine is the most vulnerable Senate Republican up for re-election this cycle. And for good reason. After spending years trying to claim she is the reasonable, moderate voice in Washington, the people of Maine are seeing her for what she really is—another out-of-touch Republican who voted with Donald Trump 94% of the time in his first year in office.

But the nail in the coffin of her political career came when Collins (who says she is pro-choice and supports Planned Parenthood), cast the deciding vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

“[Brett Kavanaugh] said under oath many times, as well as to me personally many times, that he considers Roe to be ‘precedent upon precedent.'”

Republican Susan Collins on why she voted to confirm Brett Kavanaugh

Republicans know Collins is in serious trouble, so they’ve started to pour millions of out-of-state money into her campaign. But all the money in the world won’t cover up the truth that Brett Kavanaugh is on the Supreme Court because of Susan Collins. Which means Roe v. Wade is in jeopardy because of Susan Collins.
