Despite being beaten fair and square by Democrat Kyrsten Sinema in her 2018 Senate race, Republican Martha McSally was handed a gift just a few months later when she was appointed by Arizona’s Republican governor to fill John McCain’s old seat.
McSally wasn’t in the Senate at the time of Brett Kavanaugh’s appointment to the Supreme Court, but she made her support well known on the campaign trail, saying she would vote for him if she had the chance. And as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, McSally happily cast her vote for Trump’s tax scam and to repeal health care for thousands of Arizonans.
We refuse to let Martha McSally hide from her record. The people of Arizona already made their voices clear in 2018 that they didn’t want McSally in the Senate. Now they will get their chance again in 2020 to show that the people of Arizona don’t want Martha McSally representing them.
