Republican Senator Lindsey Graham from South Carolina was once an outspoken critic of President Trump and often considered, along with John McCain, as one of the more reasonable Republican voices in the Senate.
My how things have changed. Since Senator McCain passed away, Lindsey Graham has done a complete 180, and is now one of Trump’s most ardent defenders. Graham’s newfound loyalty to Trump culminated in his outrageous outburst during the Brett Kavanaugh hearings when Graham called investigations into potential sexual assault a “sham”.
The real sham is the way Lindsey Graham has turned his back on his duty to the people of this country, voted for Trump’s tax scam, and forcefully supported Brett Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court. The people of South Carolina—and the people of this country—deserve better than Lindsey Graham.
