Freshman Republican Senator Cory Gardner’s seat is up for re-election in 2020. Gardner knows 2020 is a presidential election year. He knows that his state of Colorado has voted for the Democratic nominee in each of the last 3 presidential elections. And Gardner knows he won his Senate seat by less than 2% of the vote last time he ran.
That’s why Cory Gardner has tried hard to fly under the radar and pretend to be a swing vote on key issues over the last few years. But no matter how hard he tries, we refuse to let Gardner hide the truth that he voted for Donald Trump’s tax scam—which has helped the wealthy while adding $1 trillion to our national deficit and hurting working class Americans. And we won’t let him hide his vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
The truth is in his actions. And Cory Gardner will be held accountable for those actions in Washington when we defeat him in 2020.
